Beginning his career in the academy at Liverpool, Joe Maguire started off in the Under-9s set-up and progressed into the cusp of the first-team squad.
After a loan spell at Leyton Orient, Maguire signed for Fleetwood Town on a permanent deal. He struggled for regular football, and joined Crawley on loan for the second half of the 2018/19 season.
The 25-year-old spent the next two years at Accrington Stanley, playing for the side in Sky Bet League One.
Following his release from Accrington, Maguire signed for Tranmere Rovers on a free transfer in the summer of 2021.
