Tranmere signed forward Harvey Saunders from Bristol Rovers in January 2023 on an 18-month contract.
The 25-year-old became a professional footballer the hard way, initially playing in Sunday League while working full time, before progressing to National League North Darlington.
His impressive performances there earned a move to Fleetwood Town in 2019, where he eventually made 41 appearances for the Cod Army across all competitions, scoring eight goals. Then Fleetwood manager Joey Barton was sufficiently impressed to take Saunders with him to Bristol Rovers two years later.
A pacy and direct operator, Saunders provides further offensive options in the final third for Rovers.
