Paul Mullin signed for Tranmere Rovers from fellow League Two side Swindon Town in the summer of 2018.

The striker began is career across the river as a youth player at Liverpool and Everton but went on to feature for Huddersfield Town at U18 and U21 level after signing for them in 2012.

He impressed at Huddersfield and was rewarded with a one-year contract with the Terriers, however, he left the club at the end of the 2013/2014 season.

Mullin then trialled for League Two side Morecambe FC on what was initially a short-term contract. Mullin enjoyed a successful three-year spell at Morecambe where he netted 25 times in 122 appearances before switching to Swindon Town at the beginning of the 2017/18 season. He played 40 times and scored six goals and his promise warranted Tranmere to take his signature.

Paul scored his first goal for the Club in the Checkatrade Trophy against Crewe Alexandra in September 2018.
