Paul Mullin signed for Tranmere Rovers from fellow League Two side Swindon Town in the summer of 2018.

The striker began his career across the river Mersey as a youth player at Liverpool and Everton but went on to feature for Huddersfield Town at U18 and U21 level after signing for them in 2012.

He impressed in West Yorkshire and was rewarded with a one-year contract with the Terriers, however, he left the club at the end of the 2013/2014 season.

Mullin then went on trial for League Two side Morecambe on what was initially a short-term contract. He enjoyed a successful three-year spell at the Globe Arena where he netted 25 times in 122 appearances before switching to Swindon Town at the beginning of the 2017/18 season.

He played 40 times at the County Ground and scored six goals and his promise warranted Tranmere to take his signature in June.

The 24-year-old made 29 appearances for TRFC in 2018/19, scoring seven times for Micky Mellon’s Wirral outfit.
