Technically gifted, with the ability to impact a game, Regan Hendry joined Tranmere on a permanent deal this summer after a successful loan spell from Forest Green Rovers in early 2023.
The central midfielder, born in Edinburgh on January 21st, 1998, made 19 appearances for the Super White Army last term, impressing fans with his composed displays in central midfield.
Hendry represented Scotland at various age groups, coming through the youth system at Celtic before joining Raith Rovers, where he won the Scottish Challenge Cup in 2019/20, and was named in the Scottish Championship’s Team of the Season by both PFA Scotland and the SPFL in 2021.
Hendry then made the move to England with Forest Green, where he made 63 appearances and won the League Two title in 2021/22. He initially joined Tranmere on loan in January 2023, where he rapidly became a fan favourite.
