Tranmere Rovers FC have learned the status of the National League Futsal teams for the upcoming 2018/19 season at the AGM on July 7 at Burton Albion Football Club. It will the club's third season in the Futsal National League. With a revamped image, the following teams will represent Tranmere Rovers in the Futsal National League.
The men's division includes Cheshire, formerly Wrexham, who have many Welsh Internationals and played in the UEFA Cup Futsal last season. University of Nottingham are traditionally one of the best universities in the country, led by England U19 coach Marc Forrest, and the high flying Bolton won promotion from division 2 at their first attempt. This will be a hotly contested league with a lot of local rivalries thrown in.

The women's league grows again with the likes of Cheshire who made last season's semi finals, and Wigan Futsal Club born from UKFA who have been developing futsal in Wigan for over six years as the project of former England coach Pete Sturgess. Added to existing rivalries with Manchester Futsal and least year's north champions Morecambe, the season will provide a strong test for our growing women's side.

Our development team will be joined by some of the best young players in the country. A really competitive Liverpool development squad is built around a core of U16s who have played in the Tranmere Futsal U16s league, Bolton also have a strong U16s group with many years experience in futsal, with Super League Manchester's reserves. The most intriguing new entry will be Stoke City FC's futsal team.
