Diploma in Professional Football Studies
The Diploma in Professional Football Studies offers a unique opportunity to combine a real world insight from an English professional football club with the academic insight and expertise of one of the world’s leading schools of business and management. This fusion of expertise and rich contextual setting provides a first-of-its-kind educational experience for persons looking to work in the fast-paced sports business environment.
Onsite and Online learning delivered through 6 high-intensity modules provides students with the flexibility to observe, experience, reflect and apply learning in an authentic setting.
This Certificate runs from January 2024 until April 2024, and the Diploma from April 2024 to August 2024.
This Diploma is restricted to a maximum cohort size of 30 students per year.
You will study modules on the business of football including strategy, marketing, finance, operations, communications, and analysis. You will have the opportunity to complete FA accredited football coaching qualifications.
Modules are delivered through combinations of on-site and on-line delivery by faculty from the University of Liverpool and members of Tranmere Rover’s Board of Directors and Executive Chairman.
