Tranmere Rovers Football Club will be hosting their first ever FIFA tournament on Sunday 7th October in the Platinum Lounge at Prenton Park.
The 32 team tournament, which is open for all ages, will be hosted in association with GAME and the winner will receive a limited TRFC edition of the brand new video game, FIFA 19, on PS4.
The tournament, which will be hosted on PS4, will begin at 11am and run until 5pm with entry price just £10 and £5 if you wish to watch. Any players under the age of 12 can bring one parent or guardian with them, free of charge.*
The format is simple, the 32 teams will be split into eight groups of four with each team facing their group opponents once, with the top two from each group advancing to the knockout rounds.
There will be four knockout stages which are the last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final, where the winner will be decided and crowned the first ever Tranmere Rovers FIFA champion.
Each game will last for eight minutes and the only rule is that all participants need to choose Tranmere Rovers as their team. The games will be played in standard FIFA 19 settings.
Pizza and chips will be served on the day which is included in both the £10 and £5 tickets, alongside entry into a raffle to win a Tranmere Rovers 2018/19 home shirt. The Platinum Lounge bar will also be open for service to purchase drinks.
Tickets will be accepted at the Platinum Lounge entrance with the doors opening at 10am. People will leave the premises through the Platinum Lounge entrance too, with last orders at 4.30pm in time for a 5pm closure.
