Morris taking each game as they come ahead of Ipswich

17 January 2020

Tranmere Rovers’ midfielder Kieron Morris is taking it each game as they come ahead of Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League One fixture against Ipswich Town at Prenton Park.

Micky Mellon’s men welcome Paul Lambert’s Tractor Boys up to the Wirral for the third-tier clash, which will also see James Norwood return to Rovers in Ipswich colours.

And speaking to the local media before this weekend’s meeting with the Sussex outfit, Morris, 25, is hopeful that TRFC can get a positive result.

Morris said: “I think that you always take each game as it comes. The next game is always the most important, so we’ll look onto Ipswich and hopefully get a result.

“If we get a good result against Ipswich we can move up, so we are all preparing for the weekend.

“Ipswich will be a difficult game. They are a good team who are up there, so we’ll have to be at our best.

“We need to get three points instead of one. We need to be better defensively as well as a team and going forward, so we need to work hard and train hard.

“At the moment, results haven’t gone our way, but we feel that the performances are there.”
