Tranmere Rovers Football Club are appealing for the local community to show their support for the SWA2 ticket initiative!
The community focused campaign, which launched more than five years ago, presents an opportunity for children and families who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford to go to live football matches.
Working in partnership with Tranmere Rovers Trust, so far, we have raised the funds to donate more than 800 match tickets, and our aim is to now hit the 1,000 mark.
The generosity of Tranmere fans, players and local businesses for this campaign in previous years can only be applauded, and we hope the SWA2 community ticket initiative will once again have a positive impact.
Tranmere Rovers in the Community’s Managing Director, Dawn Tolcher, said: “We have proudly run the SWA2 community ticket initiative since 2015 and we are pleased we can do so once again.
“We know all too well the positive impact this initiative can have across the borough. Tranmere Rovers in more than a football club and we pride ourselves on being Wirral’s Family Club, and we hope with your support, we can raise the funds to hit the 1,000-ticket donation mark, and we thank everyone for their support.”
