Midfielder Jon Nolan says his target this season is to get promoted and that’s his only target for the season.
“I’m happy to get the deal over the line, it’s been a long off season for me and I’ve worked to get to this position fitness wise so I’m happy to get it sorted.
“I’ve been in training for a week or two to see how it was and I was happy to be here as soon as I came. It’s a massive Club and the facilities here are top notch and I couldn’t ask for any more really.”
Nolan spoke about his discussions with manger Micky Mellon and is excited by where the Club can go.
“The manager sold the whole Club to me, the project and how he wants to get out of this league. I think for me personally, you don’t want to be playing in League Two and the manager is the same, he wants to take this Club forward and thinks we can definitely climb the leagues and the stature of it just sold it to me”
Talking about his time training with the Club so far, Nolan Said:
“It’s been tough, Tranmere Running Club it’s been so far but it’s been enjoyable. I’ve been in since last Monday so it’s coming up to two weeks now and it’s been great, the lads are great, training has been good and I’ve just enjoyed it.”
“The first two weeks are obviously tough but we’ve got a game on Saturday and that’s where everything starts clicking and getting into gear. We’ve got a great group of lads here and I’ve some quality on the training ground already so I’m confident we can do something special this season.”
“We’ve got to get promoted, that’s the first and only target I have for this season”
