Tranmere Rovers’ Lee O’Connor was disappointed his side couldn’t hang on to win against Sutton United on Saturday afternoon in Sky Bet League Two.
“It was a tough game and we should have seen it out and we didn’t, which is disappointing.
“I think if you probably asked anyone at the start of the week if they’d take four points, they probably would have, but we should have come out with six.
“I thought we were very good in the first half, managed the game superb. In the second half, I thought we just let it slip, we just let them get into the game.
“Just a couple of passes and we could have broke on them and things like that, but I thought we defended really well until the last second so it’s a cutting blow.”
