Several Tranmere Rovers players have received nominations for awards at the Armstrong Projects Northwest Football Awards.
Winger Josh Hawkes has been nominated for the League Two Player of the Season award for 2022/23 after his ten goals and four assists in 44 league appearances last term.
Tranmere Rovers Women's Anya McCready has been nominated for The Athletic Women's Rising Star award at the ceremony as well as the Women's Player of the Season award, alongside several players from the Women's Super League, after Anya sensationally came through all the way from our community Wildcats sessions to the women's first team.
Summer signing for the men's first team, Joe Yarney, has been nominated for the National League Player of the Season award for his performances with Oldham Athletic after he won the Latics' Supporters' Player of the Season award.
Ethan Bristow has been nominated for The Athletic Rising Star award for his performances for Rovers last season before departing to MLS side Minnesota United in the summer for an undisclosed fee.
