Tranmere have been drawn away to Stockport County in the first round of the Cheshire Senior Cup on Tuesday 26th September (7.30pm kick-off).
Rovers will make the journey to Edgeley Park to face their fellow Sky Bet League Two opponents.
Stockport have won the competition on six occasions, most recently in 2022 when they beat Vauxhall Motors 5-0 in the final.
These two sides met in the 2016 final, where the Hatters won 2-1 after extra time.
