Tranmere Rovers defender Jean Belehouan has spoken of the importance of the end to the season not just for the team but for him and his teammates who are fighting for contracts for next year, ahead of the visit of AFC Wimbledon this Saturday 20th April (3pm kick-off).
“The manager has told us to take the opportunity when it’s there and go out there and do everything. We’re fighting for contracts and a lot of other people are fighting for contracts too so we have to showcase what we can offer to the team and hopefully we can crack on from there.
“I’m trying to do what I can when the opportunities are here. In training as well, in terms of that, just always keep going.
“I can’t just be calm, I really need to get going because a lot of other people have more opportunities than me, so when I have the opportunity I need to take it.”
