Tranmere Rovers manager Nigel Adkins praised the mentality of his side after their 1-1 draw with Colchester on Easter Monday.
“Kieron Morris alone could have scored five! He scored a good goal as it was. Their goalkeeper was exceptional for them.
“The amount of chances, the oohs and ahhs we had, we just go over the bar and just past the post with the shots we had.
“We played some really good attacking football. It’s kind of that stage of the season sometimes people might question the mentality of the players. They certainly had a right go today didn’t they. They were up for it, they’ve been up for it all the way through.
“The lads really worked hard, put a shift in because it was a tough game today, competitive.”
