Tranmere Rovers manager Nigel Adkins spoke about sending the fans home happy after his side defeated league leaders Stockport County 4-0 at Prenton Park.
“The fans were great, they’re leaving with a smile on their face, they had something to sing about today, that’s what it’s all about.
“I say to the players before the game what it means to represent Tranmere Rovers, people want to come and see you work hard.
“We certainly worked hard and we have done consistently and we scored some great goals today.
“Their goalkeeper has made some unbelievable saves, five that I’ve put down on there he’s done.”
