Jean Belehouan is a strong, versatile defender who can play at left-back or centre-back.
The 23-year-old joined Tranmere Rovers in September 2023 after impressing Nigel Adkins in training at The Campus. He had departed Sheffield United in the summer.
Belehouan previously played in the Academy at Manchester United, and also had loan spells with FC Halifax Town, Farsley Celtic and Boston United.
He made his Rovers debut in the Cheshire Senior Cup, starting off with a 2-0 win over Stockport County in September 2023. He went on to make his first home appearance against Leicester City U21's in the EFL Trophy the following month.
Belehouan was handed extended terms until the end of the 2023/24 season after impressing both on the pitch and in training at The Campus.
